Zucchini Cake

This is the kitchen of mom's cousin in. Beirut, whose wife, Marina, is Russian. We visited them that day mom and I,Marina had prepared a nice zucchini cake. Which was still hot when we arrived. I've always loved their tiny kitchen, and enjoyed the Russian details that Marina spread around the house. So I asked her if we could stay in the kitchen instead of the living room and enjoy the cake and the tea sitting around the small table. I loved that scene where I was sitting, so I asked Marina and mom to move away for a sec a bit to I could take a picture with my phone. Later that day I illustrated this old lady with a few cats around the house.
