Kaak Kaak

Kaak, is a traditional round dough, that is usually sold on a bicycle. You can have it for breakfast, or for an afternoon snack (assrouniyyeh). You can have it with either a very cheap cream cheese, or with some strange red thyme that is usually mixed with some wood powder :) but we love it nevertheless. You'll find plenty of kaak vendors in Beirut, especially by the corniche. Make sure you grab yours when you're in Beirut.
