Happy Eid

The Maamoul is a famous sweet dough filled with either walnuts and sugar, pistachio and sugar, or dates. Mothers and grandmothers start preparing the Maamoul a few days before every Eid, and usually they compete on who's Maamoul tastes better. When you smell Maamoul, it means the Eid is near. It is aligned with new clothes and shoes, haircuts and little gifts for the children of the family (preferably money).
